MHS & PRMS Soccer

The mission of the Merrill High School and Prairie River Middle School soccer programs is to further the holistic development of our student-athletes through sport-specific practice and competition. We hope to provide each student-athlete an opportunity to find success through the sport of soccer, while also encouraging academic growth and inspiring social responsibility.

The high school and middle school soccer programs will strive to embody core values of integrity, leadership, perseverance, and respect. Coaches and players will work together daily to cultivate an environment filled with encouragement, positive self-esteem, self-confidence, and team unity.

The boys programs compete in the fall, with practice typically beginning mid-August and the season running through the end of October. The girls programs compete in the spring, with practice typically beginning mid-March and the season running through the beginning of June.

Varsity, JV and middle school teams play conference games against other schools in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and also schedule competitive non-conference opponents year after year.
